2026年9月14日至18日，海洋生物圈整合研究国际大科学计划（IMBeR）第三期（2027-2037）研讨会在上海顺利举行。本次会议由华东师范大学河口海岸全国重点实验室和IMBeR国际项目办公室共同承办。IMBeR科学指导委员会成员及国际合作网络的专家学者齐聚申城，共同研讨第三期科学计划的研究重点与实施路径，推进科学计划编制工作。
面对全球环境变化加速带来的挑战，IMBeR第三期科学计划将围绕"海洋生态系统韧性""蓝色食物转型"以及"海洋干预、韧性与公正未来"三大研究主题，通过跨学科研究与实践，推动科学成果转化为切实可行的治理方案与行动，为海洋生态系统健康、蓝色食物可持续供给及社会公平发展提供科学支撑。
会议期间，IMBeR与印度尼西亚国家研究与创新署深海研究中心（RCDS-BRIN）签署科学合作意向书。双方将在联合科研、海洋观测、学术交流与能力建设等领域深化合作，进一步加强印度尼西亚及印太地区海洋科研团队与IMBeR国际科学网络的联系，促进区域协作与知识共享。
IMBeR 3.0 Science Planning Workshop
The workshop to develop the science plan for the third phase (2027–2037) of Integrated Marine Biosphere Research (IMBeR) was held in Shanghai from 14 to 18 September 2026. Jointly hosted by the State Key Laboratory of Estuarine and Coastal Research at East China Normal University and the IMBeR International Project Office, the workshop brought together members of the IMBeR Scientific Steering Committee and experts from its international network to refine research priorities and implementation pathways for the next phase.
In response to the challenges posed by accelerating global environmental change, IMBeR’s third-phase science plan will focus on three research themes: “Marine Ecosystem Resilience,” “Blue Food Transitions,” and “Ocean Interventions, Resilience and Just Futures.” Through interdisciplinary research and practical engagement, the programme will translate scientific knowledge into actionable governance strategies, providing a scientific foundation for healthy marine ecosystems, sustainable blue food provision, and equitable societal development.
During the workshop, IMBeR and the Research Center for Deep Sea of the National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (RCDS-BRIN) signed a Letter of Intent for scientific cooperation. The partnership will strengthen collaboration in joint research, ocean observations, academic exchange, and capacity development, further connecting marine research communities in Indonesia and the wider Indo-Pacific region with IMBeR’s international scientific network and fostering regional cooperation and knowledge sharing.
