ChristopheClaramunt is a professor in computer science and chair of the Naval AcademyResearch Institute in France. His research is oriented towards theoretical andpluri-disciplinary aspects of geographical information science. His researchincludes spatio-temporal models and theories, semantic and cognitive-based GIS,wireless and GIS system, etc. He has been acting as the deputy leader of theworking group on the representation of movement data and spatio-temporal DBs ofthe European Science Foundation COST action MOVE.
